The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed with regards to the substantial quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The support point designed for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all consumers and sassa enhance use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
